When I first started blogging I did a lot of research on the best ways to earn money blogging, I read at least 100 different e-books on the subject. But no matter what e-book I read it all kept coming back to the same thing, To Be A Successful Blogger You Need Readers! And the best way to get readers is by driving traffic to your blog, one way or another.

I found that writing articles is one of the best ways to get traffic to my blog, and to this day it still works great. The reason that this tactic works so well, is because when you write an article you can then place your URL/link in the article along with your signature. Not only will this create a backlink to your blog from the article directory that the article is posted on, but also when somebody reads your article and they like what they're reading, your link will give them a way to find and start following you. These are the kind of readers you want. Of course the more articles you write the better this will work, as long as your articles are halfway decent.

After you write your articles make sure you submit it to all of the article directories that you can find. There are a ton of free directories out there, like Article Snatch, Go Articles.com, Article Base, and many more. You can just Google the term FREE ARTICLE DIRECTORIES, and you'll see what I mean.

Make sure to read over your article once or twice before you submit it, otherwise this could hurt you more than help. I hope this post helps to drive a ton of traffic to all of your blogs out there. Keep up the great work and good luck!

Getting backlinks to your blog from Technorati can increase your blog traffic in a big way. It can also increase your pagerank and your visibility in the search engines like Google. Anybody that knows about backlinks, know how important it is to have them pointing to your blog site.
