How To Optimize Your Title Tag For Blogger

 To get started you will first need to use an HTML editor. If you don't have one click here to get one for free.

First copy and paste this meta tag into your HTML editor.

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/> | put a short description of your blog here </title>
<b:else/>
<title><data:blog.pageName/> ~ <data:blog.title/></title>
</b:if>

Now go to your Blogger.com Dashboard:

• Then go to Layout
• Next click on Edit HTML
• Save a back-up copy of your template
• find this meta tag  <title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> and replace it with the one above.

This is a very simple and effective SEO technique. Make sure you are using good SEO on your blog to make it more search engine friendly.
